Pritam Panda has come a long way to be a pride to his state,coutry and countryman...An average student till 1999 at the St.Vincent's Convent School and then till 2001 in commerce stream,at the Fakir Mohan College in Balasore,PP inspired from his designer sisiter Payal Panda (a graduate of  LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION) headed to the city of joy Kolkata to cherish his chilhood dreams of making a mark in the Fashion industry and joined The Bhowanipore Education Society College-VAA,completing his one year course with flying colors and being awarded as the Best Student of the College and being selected to join the WLC,UK. But, situations and circumstances forced him to abandon his further studies at the age of 19 as he struggled a livelihood getting commisioned for his designes from two small fashion stores in the city.The hardlogged days with a design job from 10-4 and  a garment tech job from 5-10,nurtured PP with not only the realms and myths of the design basics but also that of LIFE.
Year 2002 (after a short & profound training under late Alexander McQueen) only heralded the humble beginning of the label catering to a few domestic stores and today in a span of 9 years, boasts a team of 8 assistant designers, 62 artisans, 20 seamsters to form the VKY-House of Fashion with an

PP is one of the very few Indian Designers to have a runway in Paris,31st May,2011 and was also honoured by a specialisation Masters by the ECOLE  NORMALE  SUPERE,Montrougue,France.
Today Pritam Panda stands apart as the youngest ever entrepreneur to win the World Chopard Young Entrepreneurs Award-2010 and is the 3rd Indian to be honoured a space in the Chambre Syndicalle de La Couture,Paris to display his creation. Aiming to promote the state textile and handicraft via his ellaborate and much applauded state of art creation, he has been extensively tryig to develope designes out of local textiles and thus promote the weaving community of Odissa selflessly.
